Cheap beer during happy hour. Lots of screens to watch your favorite sporting event. Decent food with a friendly staff makes for an enjoyable dining experience. I would try it again if I was in the area. It is within walking distance from the Hilton, that's why I went there. It also has a nice view of a man-made lake.

The menu covers everything from enchiladas to chile verde...but what I always go for is the deep fried quesadilla. Order it with chicken, beef, pork, or shrimp...they take the raw dough, stuff it with meat and cheese, and then deep fry...it's not greasy, but crispy instead and covered with sauce. I don't want to know the calories, but it is... More

Heard so many good things about it but for me there was nothing special about it. The service was less than average and if you like a soda with your meal, I think they charge for refills because I sat there high and dry for the last part of my dinner. Must of been a bad night.

This restaurant is located in an area of offices. It overlooks Quail Lake and has great food. The brothers Arroyo use the same recipes their mother and probably their grandmother used at home. Authentic home cooked mexican food. Great variety. The bar is always energized, and sometimes there is live music. The only down side is sometimes parking is difficult... More

Good Mexican food. A little out of the way. A little pricey for Mexican food. It is located off March Lane, in the Quail lakes ares, on the water. Nice view during the day

Arroyo's serves classic Mexican food in a splendid lakeside location at a modest price. Hosts Rick and Mario continue a family tradition. Chefs are consistent. Service is quick and cheerful. Their cheese enchiladas, rice, beans and albondigas soup are terrific. Arroyo's is our default restaurant; we are regulars at this Stockton traditional eatery.

Arroyo's Cafe is a large and very comfortable full service multi-room Mexican restaurant located on semi-private Quail Lake behind a professional office commercial center. The restaurant was established in 1946. The building's large windows allow visitors to enjoy and decompress watching peaceful residentially oriented activities on and around the lake, birds, and mother nature. But this was only the beginning... More

The food is terrible the staff is awful. I ordered the chile verde and it was not green Verde is green in spanish and this classic dish is supposed to be made with tomatillos I told them I did not want it. It was a brown red color and they insist it was chile verde said I still had to... More

Years ago Arroyo's Cafe was a shabby overly lit open room in a building near the tracks in downtown Stockton. It was in a neighborhood that felt slightly unsafe to be in after dark, but you felt the risk was worth it because the food was that good. Then they moved to a new location in a more upscale part... Very good food. They gave us extra tortillas at the end, so we could feed the ducks out in the pond outside. That was fun!
