We stopped off at Santa Barbara for lunch on our drive from The Big Sur to Santa Monica LA on a recent Californian Roadtrip. Santa Barbara is a small, sweet seaside town focused on it's beach and pier. Being from the UK we were quite alarmed by the fact that the majority of the pier was reserved for parking but... More

Took kids here for lunch over Memorial Weekend. Thought we'd try it based on good reviews. It's a small place with indoor and outdoor seating. You have to sign up for a table on a sheet out front, which is only sporadically checked by a server (no hostess). It was chaotic, crowded and we waited for an eternity to get... More

Awesome location (at the end of Stearn's Warf) with great seafood. Quite a wait for a table, they do not accept reservations but its worth the wait. They serve amazing seafood from giant steamed spider crabs, tasty clam chowder to sauteed abalone!!! A guiltless seafood feast for the tummy!! A definite Must eat when coming to visit Santa Barbara!!

Drove out to the pier and ate a late lunch here. We sat at the bar and the service was excellent and fast! My wife loved the crab cakes and I enjoyed the crab sandwich. Shrimp ceviche was just ok. The staff is really friendly, views are amazing, and the food is great!

I would suggest only two dishes. A. Spider crabs B. Dungeness crabs ciopinno. Perfect place to go on dates. It's at the far end of the Wharf. Oh, no reservations too so do come early...

During a road trip up highway one through California we stopped in Santa Barbara for a break. We walked out to the end of the pier on the waterfront and found the Santa Barbara Shellfish Company. We had heard they had great chowder and we weren't disappointed. We sat outside on the pier and visited with the cruise ship folks... More

This place had some of the best seafood I ever ate! It was fresh and well prepared. I had lobster with Cesar salad. Well seasoned and delicious. My husband had lobster pasta that he devoured. The atmosphere was quiet, great view of the ocean, and great music.
