When I am in Santa Barbara I look for places with outdoor seating so my dogs can hang out while we eat. Tupelo Junction Cafe has a wonderful Bohemian atmosphere with patient servers. The menu has a nice selection of healthy entrees for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A touch of Southern flare is exhibited in the menu. If you are... More

The ambiannce and the food are all good! The portions are tremendous and you'll want to try everything. I have been a repeat customer for years now. Some days we just go for dessert. The chocolate benyas are worth the trip all by themselves! The nights with music are a bit loud, but fun if you are in the party... More

Wandering around downtown Santa Barbara is hungry and thirsty work...so we were more than pleased to come across this gem. Happy hour means you can be full of food and drink for 20 dollars a person. It's a thing of beauty how they have transformed Southern specialties into magical manna that melts in your mouth. Fried chicken, mac and cheese,... More

I love to have brunch in Santa Barbara whenever I am in the area. I went to this restaurant for the first time today. Quite a large place and very busy. I tried their scrambled egg combination, and others had red beans and rice and hush puppies. Everything was excellent all round and quite delicious. My only complaint is that... More

I had not eaten at the Tupelo Junction Cafe in quite some time, but my friends wanted to go for breakfast and who am I to place the kibosh on the breakfast plans? We were greeted by a friendly hostess who told us that there was a 25 minute wait. After waiting we were seated at a very nice table... More

A great find (for us) although the locals seemed to know all about it. Very friendly servers who were genuinely looking to help and a menu where the biggest problem was choosing as all the dishes sounded great - interesting but not overly fussy. Lunch was really good - hot, fresh and plentiful with prices that make it very good... More

We had breakfast at the Tupelo Junction Cafe on our vacation. All of our food was delicious. We had the Vanilla dipped French Toast/Wild Mushroom, asparagus & truffle, cheese scramble & the Smoked Bacon, spinach & caramelized onion scramble. My husband also had the Spicy Smoked Chipotle & Crab Bloody Mary and that was very good. Everything was very good... More

My food was nothing like other reviewers had mentioned. We started with the Beignets. Very disappointing. Golden brown with powdered sugar on the outside. Gooey ball of uncooked dough on the inside. I had the flat iron chicken fried steak and eggs. It was flavorless. My wife had the Vanilla French toast. It was ok ... But nothing to get... More

Whether its for brunch, lunch or dinner, this place is always great. Being from the South, I know good comfort food and this place hits the nail on the head. All of the menu items combine traditional tastes with upscale ingredients and flavors. My favorite items are the friend chicken, the mac and cheese, and the Bloody Mary. YUM!
