I enjoyed the paella which was chock full of fish, shell fish, and crumbly sausage cooked in a light broth. The mango sorbet was a refreshing way to end. Many specials and moderately priced.

I have been dining at Opal since it was called Brigitte's back in the 1990's. They have evolved for the better as the years have gone by, and frankly, they were pretty darn good in the first place! The food is simply amazing. I'm just a novice foodie, but the way they combine their sauces, meats, and veggies will do...

This is my 3rd time at Opal. The first time I was there was when they were called Brigitte back in 1999, then at Opal in 2005 and tonight. Each time has been fabulous! Tonight we had Kristin as our server and she elevated our dining experience even more. She suggested our appetizer, a coconut shrimp curry sauce concoction that...

We had reservations, recommended at busiest times, and were seated promptly. Nice menu, good wine selections, and attentive service. It can get a bit loud, however.
My wife really wanted to go to Bouchon, but we couldn't get in so we went here and were extremely happy we did! I had a duck confit pizza with pears and blue cheese, it was excellent. My wife had the paella and loved it. Service was excellent. Definitely plan on returning on our next trip.
We are here last night, and while nothing was mind-bogglingly delicious, every single thing from my Pimm's Cup, to my husband's bouillabaisse, to his rich duck pizza (a special), to my chile rubbed steak was yummy. Full of flavor, well seasoned, and good sized portions. Vanilla bean creme brûlée was a delight. We just had a disastrous meal at Julienne,...

Our best dining experience while we were in Santa Barbara. The food was terrific and the service was great. One of the best for sure. The reviews don't lie.
Three of us ate lunch on Wednesday, April 3, to celebrate a business partner's birthday and were disappointed in the lack of service from our waiter whose name tag said his name was Ocean. My husband had to ask for everything twice. We arrived at 11:45 am, and it seemed that our waiter was more interested in chatting with the...

My husband and I enjoyed a delicious dinner at the bar on Saturday night. The place was packed, but we were accommodated at the bar. We had a fantastic meal (Chicken with penne in a Chipotle cream sauce and some sort of pork in a adobo sauce). The bartender and wait person were both excellent, and we enjoyed the company...
