Description: Olio Pizzeria, opened in July 2010, is a causal pizza bar/salumi bar/wine bar/full bar which was inspired by the myriad neighborhood pizzerie and enoteche (wine bars) found around the corner from just about every piazza in Italy. This idea began to take shape before Alberto and Elaine Morello even opened Olio e Limone Ristorante, their fine dining Italian restaurant next door, in 1999. Wine bars serving boutique salumi and formaggi are all the rage in Italy, as is a new regionalism which they are excited to share with you. Sicily is an emerging powerhouse, and touches of Sicilian food and wine delight their guests. You’ll also find exciting tastes from Campania and other emerging regions on their menus, wine and beer lists. Join Olio Pizzeria for private dining for up to 32, group dining, or send an inquiry regarding catering. Buon appetito!

Started with the Salumi antipasto plate, very good fennel salami and a truly good porchetta. Next we split a black truffle pizza, real truffle, not oil which I just wish had a little thinner crust. Service by our waiter was really good, and fun. His recommendation for a white wine to go with our pizza was near perfect, really complementary.... More

This pizzeria is attached to the more upscale fancy Italian restaurant. But we liked this casual pizza joint better. Great pizza, great choices, good service. Try it for the best pizza and atmosphere in this area.

I've eaten Pizza's in many places around the globe and this was one of the very top ones I've had and certainly the best in the entire US. The place is really authentic and you feel like home just when you enter it. Service was perfect and the espresso tasted like it was made in an espresso bar in Italy.

Narrow, crowded, waiters that do a disappearing act. The pizza was gooey thick with cheese (like Big Mama's in L.A. --- you gotta be in the mood for that), the vinaigrette dressing on the salad was mediocre. I'd like to try something other than the pizza -- but there wasn't enough there in atmosphere (and definitely not service) to encourage... More

and really noisy restaurant but, hey, we could see that upon entry. If you're looking for quiet, go next door the the restaurant (Olio E Limone Restaurant). The pizza was very good -- nice thin crust, not too much cheese -- and they were extremely accommodating since I'm allergic to bell peppers. Our server asked if we'd like to substitute... More

My daughter and I were together in Santa Barbara recently and wanted to go out for pizza. We happened upon this restaurant which is fairly new to SB. It is right around the corner from the upscale Olio E Limone Ristorante which is excellent, but high priced. The pizzeria is much more low key and casual with a very nice... More

Sometimes you just want a good Pizza. Olio will not let you down. They have many pizzas and most are a departure from the typical fare you would see at a normal pizza joint. This is upscale pizza at its best. Good atmosphere, attentive service. Ask to be seated downstairs as that is more fun.

This place is really really good. Pizza is excellent. Service is excellent. They even hand stuffed blue cheese olives for us for Martinis. I really with they had a pasta dish or 2. Great atmosphere and environment.

Just returned from a lovely dinner at Olio Pizzeria. Shared an appetizer, salad, pizza and caraffe of wine and it was the perfect amount of food. Found the portions to be reasonable without being over the top, flavors were as I remember from several trips to Italy, and the service was prompt and friendly. The clientele and vibe of this...
