It's probably been close to a year since we've been here and its gotten pretty bad. My wife and I take weekend hikes around the bay area with a stop at a brew pub afterwards. The service and the food were less than average. The glasses sat empty as the server passed, had to finally wave my arms to get... More

I used to go here because of the free meal deals for the kids, decent service and nice beers. Last few meals have really been pretty bad. Nearly sent meals back to kitchen. Service has dwindled to a few people with baditude who could care less about keeping their jobs. Not going anymore. I'm done. More

I like there hamburgers. They're cooked over a wood fire grill. They come out just right. I also love the garlic mashed potatoes that come with it. The service is good. They have a nice atmosphere. They have T.V's with sports on all the time if you like that. I don't ,i just come for the hamburgers. I have asked... More

Our server was even better than the food but the shrimp nachos were about as good as it gets. My margarita was made from scratch and wasnt too sweet - just the way i like it. The other patrons seemed friendly also. Definitely lacking in decor so don't expect an attractive setting but go anyway. Good happy hour value! More

Noisy, cold, limited menu, great ribs though and kids eat free from the kids' menu. More

I go here quite often and really enjoy the atmosphere and food. Laid-back and very good menu with specials and wonderful beers on tap. More

Spoiled, ungrateful waitstaff, a short curly black hair in the calimari, waiting way too long for a menu... and the snipey blonde waitress didn't communicate my food snafu to my actual waitress, and she didn't bring a menu back for me to choose something else. horrible slow service and mediocre uncreative food. Total waste of time and money. I will... More

My wife and I were visiting San Rafael and stumbled upon the Broken Drum one night and had a great meal, with fantastic service from Alex. She may be the best server we've ever had! Extremely attentive and friendly. She turned us onto a great meal and some home brew beer samplers, all of which were delicious. I'm sorry we... More
