Breakfast or Lunch are both good here and the food is a large selection you have trouble making up your mind what you are gong to eat. Not just a hot dog place by any means so don't let the name fool you!

Probably had breakfast in here about 20 times in the past six months. Fast, cheap, friendly service, staff having a great time, great mix of customers. You could probably get a burger with a hot dog on it at Franks... they have pretty much everything. I ordered the chili dog and got chili with a side of hot dog. Their Ortega burger is great. Serving size: American. If you're looking to get your grub on then come here. Prices are cheap!

Franks may be best known for its hot dogs, but everything my family has tried on the menu has been good, In particular, the jumbo burger is fantastic! The staff is helpful and the service is good.

I have been going to Franks since 1980. Now I make a point of stopping for a dog or 2 whenever I am in SLO. It isn't just out of habbit but can become habit Forming! Don't feel like a dog try the Monster Burger, you won't go huingry.

I came here once for dinner. The menu was too big, but everything was fine. Lots of fried things, all very fresh. Not much to complain about, but not much to go back for.
