We never used to go here. I thought I didn't like it. I must've had something a long time ago I didn't like. Since El Torito closed down we went here and I had some chicken tacos that I thought were pretty good. Reasonable prices, good food. Loud and kid-friendly. More

We've been going here for years, and this restaurant has always been incredibly consistent in the quality of food and service, not to mention the great margaritas! Always starting out with fresh house made thin corn chips served with a delicious smoked salsa, you won't find better chips & salsa anywhere. Our server on this occasion, Charles, did a very... More

Boring and predictable...Try a local joint, just ask anybody, anywhere in CA and they can give you pointers on where to get great Mexican food. More

This Chevy's doesn't come close to matching the ambiance of the Sacramento Garden Highway riverfront location. It's a rectangular box in a shopping center parking lot in a stand alone building without outdoor seating. You'd go here only for the outstanding food and drink, not to mention the chips and salsa are the best anywhere. Try the guacamole and fajitas,... More

Fifteen years ago before they sold the chain the chain to Pepsi, it was excellent. Now it is just another big Mexican chain with nothing special. Sometimes the service is weak. More

The atmosphere and wait staff are uplifting, but the food is a let-down. It's standard Mexican-style, attractive but bland. Even boring. Very noisy atmosphere with little food fan fare. More

After we first got there the waitress dumped a tray of ice water on my 8 month old grandson, which scared him to death. The manager came out and apolgized to us and they said they would comp us appetizers, which they did and that was nice. Then after ordering dinner it took forever to get our food (and they... More

the grilled vegetables in the burrito are big and chuncky and over cooked with no flavor. The burrito is filled with rice and beans and it comes on a huge plate that is also covered with the same rice and beans $ 9.99 for this heap of beans and rice is a rip off!! More

Having a chain Mexican restaurant in a part of the country that is filled with small, authentic Mexican restaurants is a real challenge. Chevy's did not rise to it. We started with the margaritas, which were weak and too sweet. We moved to guacamole made at the table which would be a novelty if I hadn't had it in Sante... More
