Want to have a quiet romantic dinner with live piano, unassuming service away from the noisy bars/restaurants? Then Chantilly is the place for you. The food was superb, the surroundings were romantic, with dimmed lighting, chandeliers, large floral arrangements and a red rose for the ladies on departure. The food is classified as French/Northern Italy and the varied menus reflected... More

My husband and I went to Chantilly for our 35th wedding anniversary dinner. We were not disappointed. The ambiance is elegant, the service very good, the food excellent. The high ceiling, carpeted floor and fabric wallpaper keep noise levels down, which is an important criteria for us when we dine out. Their calamari steak with lemon butter is fork-tender and... Dined here ... food (smoked salmon, Dover Sole) were cooked well. Service was attentive. Decor needs serious updating. Family near us brought their two 5 year old. Like huh? Thanks. Not. I'm sorry, but I am used to paying pricey meals but $16 for a glass of house wine is just BS. I will not be back to get fleeced.

This was a great dining experience. The decor is elegant and designed to absorb excessive noise. The service was impeccable (attentive but not intrusive). The waiter knew the subtleties of the menu and made good recommendations. The food was excellent! Overall, the meal felt classy without being stifling. I'll be back.

This is a delightful and beautiful fine dining venue. You are greeted by the owner in an elegantly decorated foyer and dining rooms are romantic and subdued with a fireplace, while table clothes, outstanding food and service. For a special occasion evening this is you place.

Food was decent. Owner Gus was very friendly to us. Decor was not my taste and looked like it might need to be updated. Nice private dining options - love the wine room option on the first floor.

Outstanding service and wonderful food. It is one of the few places where you can have great food and conversation without having to talk loudly.

The first thing that hit me when I arrived here is that the restaurant is located right next to K&L Wine, one of the best wine stores in the area. I expected the restaurant's wine list to be extensive, and I was not disappointed. The first thing that hit me when I entered the restaurant is how old-fashioned its decor... More

My husband's colleagues at Stanford gave a wonderful dinner for him at Chantilly's. The company was excellent and in every way possible Chantilly's was also excellent!

The restaurant has a Louis XIV kind of decor which is somewhat surprising in this area and as others have said, the average age of the patrons or the waiters made a mid life 40+ like me felt younger than I had in years... The food is classic too with french/italian inspiration. Most of what we tried was very good... More
