Nice place, you sit around a grill with other people you don't know, the chef cooks everything right in front of you, so you know what goes into the meal and how fresh it is, and they even make it fun. Lots of food fun good price More

Came here with someone who had never had Japanese food, much less teppan style so it was mostly for fun while on a conference. Food was ok, Shrimp were good, scallops a bit overcooked, steak ok but not terribly flavorful. Vegs were the hit, they had lots of flavor. Typical bad jokes from chefs but still fun. The table next... More

Recently tried this Japanese steak house and it was DE-LI-CIOUS! There were lots of items to choose from, but I had the tenderloin, and it was melt-in-my mouth good. The entertainment of the chef preparing all of our meals in front of us, telling corney jokes as he cooked, was fun too. My only complaint is that it is very... More

While on a family vacation, our entire group of 12 went for a special dinner here. The atmosphere is wonderful, from the Koi pond at the entrance, to the kimono wearing hostess, to the knife-wielding chef who prepared our meal table-side. The kids menu was extensive, and they all enjoyed the tricks employed by our chef (dancing prawns, tails flicked... More

The show that Mr. Phat (our chef) gave us was lots of fun. The food was super delicious. I loved their ginger sauce all over my vegetables, garlic rice & seafood. The orange sorbet is better than the green-tea dessert. There was always a lady asking us if we needed more of anything, and whenever we did, it was taken... More

You know the Benihana formula: Stir fry at your table. It's a fun little show, the chefs wiggle the prawns' tails for you, and keep up a banter for you. Fun, especially for kids, but at the price I can't imagine going twice, though I noted that some people at my table seemed to be regulars. I thought the valet... More

Short and sweet... Great food, service, atmosphere, and decent value given anything in Rancho Mirage is going to be a little higher than other places. If you go with a group of people, you're gonna have a nice, fun, relaxing time. I've only been here once, but we're definitely going back. As for the bar area, very well laid out... More

I myself and my clients are Kobe's customer since 1986. They used to had a friendly Managers and I exchanged a gift us them. However, current Manager is very unfriendly and I am afraid to make a reservation with them. Chefs and service attendants are all friendly person, even valet attendants. Only Manager is the worst. I couldn't go through... More
