May 20, 2012 What an absolute perfect spot for lunch on a Saturday or Sunday, Our meal today was, well, outstanding. The lamb was the best I have ever tasted - I highly recommend that you try it. Excellent service and a delightful wine list. Do not drive through the Amador "wine country" without stopping here. Do stop and enjoyu! More

We arrived by noon on a Saturday and they still had tables, but the place was packed by one. We joined another couple for wine tasting in Amador County on April 29, 2012 and after a fine afternoon of sampling and buying we decided to take a chance and see if we could get an early seating at Taste. Don't miss this foodie experience. Try wine flights and anything the wait staff recommends. We have dined here twice and will have enduring memories. This is such a special treat after tasting wine in Amador County. Don't leave Plymouth in the evening without stopping for great food and attentive service. More

You wouldn't expect to find a restaurant of this caliber in Plymouth. Dress is nice casual. Food presentation and service is outstanding. I have eaten here several times and the food has been good to very good. A great find and a nice reason to drive to the foothills. More
