I've eaten here on several occasions. The food is consistent but a bit overpriced. If you are looking for a beer the selection is limited. Our server was very pleasant but other staff whisked away my boyfriend's plate almost as soon as he took his last bite. I was also asked if I were finished eating when I paused for... More

Houston's is my colleague's favorite chain restaurant so I agreed to give it a try. I could see why he likes it so much. We were able to easily walk there from our hotel on Los Robles. We were seated reasonably quickly in spite of the restaurant being very busy. The atmosphere was very conducive to a relaxing meal as... More

The service here is superb. Lunch for two cost over $60 without wine. We each had a salad--a chicken, Asian noodle ensemble that was very tasty, and a sashimi tuna salad, along with a shared appetizer of cold asparagus. A couple of individual bottles of Saratoga water, along with an ice tea. Be prepared for a busy place, upscale casual... More

We have enjoyed Houston's in NYC, San Francisco, Century City over the last 15 years. Now we are enjoying the Pasadena location. The consistency among the various stores is amazing and impressive. High quality food, very well prepared and presented by a very capable, pleasant staff. The cheeseburger is a pleasure, the fries and the cole slaw are excellent sides.... More

Excellent service. The staff works together like a team. Romantic, yet casual atmosphere. I love the grilled Hawaiian ribeye ($35.) and I usually get the "add on" caesar salad. (I think it's $6.) FYI. It comes with a baked potato, but you can choose another side for the same price. They slightly undercook their beef. They do this to save... More

I love Houston's. From the moment I went 15 years ago. I have always ordered the thai jungle salad. But everything else is great too. The french dip. The ribs. The sushi rolls.

My favorite restaurant of all time, my husband and I have frequented Houstons since it opened in Pasadena. We were so pleased with the service and food that we made it our "official", client meeting place. For years we visited every Tuesday and took clients to the restaurant on Fridays. This would happen at least once a month. About a... More

Consistently great food and service, lovely indoor outdoor koi pond. I've never had anything from Houston that is not fantastic. Great place for date, though it can be pricey. Full bar is definitely worth it!

No corkage fee, a prime rib sanwich that melts in your mouth. Good service and a comfortable environment.
