Drawn to this place by their TV commercials quickly realizing they spend more time on the ads then the food. With all the wonderful fine dining in the Valley do not waste your time here. The Staff is friendly and accommodating although english was not our waiters first language and everything we said and he said had to be repeated.... More

I'm a former New Yorker born and raised. I know good NY delis when I see one. I'm living in Palm Springs for ten years now and I must say that this restaurant is excellent. The portions are large and the prices are reasonable. The server staff is very pleasant. Ample parking. Much better than Sherman's Deli in downtown Palm... More

Manhattan in the Desert has recently added some exciting "gourmet" items to their breakfast menu which includes "Cinnamon Swirl Pancakes" or "Banana Carmel Pancakes" or, could you ever imagine, "Carrot cake french toast with cream cheese icing?" OMG, it's true! They continue to offer a huge variety of omelets as well as other breakfast specialties plus all the "standards". (Corned... More

Great place. We dined here for breakfast and were delighted with the eggs Benedict and salmon. As we had an international flight to catch from LAX we had limited time. The waiting staff and kitchen were super efficient and friendly especially since the restaurant was super popular.

Since Manhattan opened, the parking lot has been full yet they always seem to find a table and staff to give fast service. The menu has evrything that a good deli should have and their attention to quality and presentation es excellent for a busy place. TIP Make a reservation on Open Table for even faster seating.

I travel to Palm Springs once a year and Manhattan in the Desert is where I always stop on the way to the airport for my return trip. I order a sandwich, eat half in the restaurant and save tghe other half for the plane ride back. My favorite is the huge pastrami/corned beef sandwich which is full of tasty... More

Good food, large portions, and a trendy looking place. A great place to split a sandwich. They are huge.

Outstanding food and service, and the portions are large. Can get a little loud at lunch time but there is a lot of great energy here. Salads are huge and delicious. Can't believe previous reviewer who insisted on bacon in her caesar salad. I have not seen that in the "states" and getting anchovies is rare. Guess that is how... More

Manhattan in the Desert was right next to the place we were staying so we decided to try it. My husband had a huge sandwich consisting of pastrami, hamburger and cole slaw with french fries. I had a pastrami. Be sure to order a dish of pickles. The pastrami was excellent - very lean. The service was great. The variety... More

I love the Matza Ball soup here. I'm not Jewish but I love me a good Matza Ball soup. The best is at Rita's Deli in Culver City, CA. But this one is good too. I enjoyed the service, the food and the bill. I ate here is friends once and family once. Both good.. A good rival to Sherman's... More
