Bus boys stood over me waiting to take my plate wether I was finished or not. It took longer to drive there grin Palm Desert then to eat. The food was nicely presented, but way over priced for what it was. I left feeling like I bought the place. Ambiance is zero.

Value = *** Ambiance = ** Food = *** Timing = *** Service = * The other posters have covered the waitstaff very well. Pushy, and New York Diner type "Diner as in a Grease joint" certainly not fine dining. The prices are not in keeping with the cuisine or culinary skills..

We ate at Copley's our first night and Johannes our second and if you only have time for one I'd pick Johannes. The attmosphere at Copley's was lovely but the food was better IMO at Johannes. For our appetizers i had the wild mushroom soup with tarragon creme fraiche and truffle oil. It was tasty but needed a tad bit... More

Came here on Saturday night and was greeted by George. Really nice guy and professional. We came right before 10 and decided to sit on the patio. Why not it was a beautiful night! We were greeted by our server I believe her name was arecli. I hope thats right. She was young and beautiful and such a sweet heart!... More

This hip restaurant has expertly prepared dishes in fun combinations. The salads were wonderfully fresh and well-dressed, the escargot was swimming in a broth that you'll want to soak up with a loaf of bread. The meat dishes were all perfect and the seafood was fresh and delicious. The restaurant can be a bit noisy, despite the sound baffling system... More

I don't go to Palm Springs for the food, and never expect much when I do dine out, so I was pleasantly surprised when I ate dinner at Johannes. Their specialty, the wiener schnitzel (veal or chicken), is very well prepared, comes to the table very hot, and proves that while the Germans may not be known for their cuisine,... More

I was super confused by what this restaurant was prior to eating here. The Internet said it was European, the sign out from says cosmopolitan dining and some app called it Australian. Perhaps it is all these things. We had nice martinis to start and some various salads. The beet salad was good. On to the mains we enjoyed the... More
