I got the .99 tacos, great flavor but they put them in 1 corn tortilla, so they fell apart quite quickly and I had to finish them with a fork. The salsa was brought to us in to-go cups, small ones which did not last and when I asked for more from the waitress that was sitting and taking her... More

I was visiting on a business trip and happened upon Mamacita's. And I sure am glad I did! You order your food at the front desk when you arrive and they bring it to your table. Their service and staff was great! The servings were good sized and priced very reasonably. This certainly ranks in the top 3 of my... More

is an apt description for this family-owned, local Mexican restaurant in Palm Desert. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the friendly, efficient staff. Large margaritas and generous portions at very reasonable prices.

chili rellanos, burritos, everything made from scratch. Hidden next to a landscaping store just off Cook Street. Breakfast and lunch filled with locals.

Based on other's recommendations, I visited here for dinner. A very small place with lots of kids running around making lots of noise. The food was ok, but the other customers who were disrespectful of others having dinner made me wish I had gone elsewhere. Perhaps this place might be more suited for a lunch visit, but not by me.

Very good, flavorful food! You won't need to add anything but salsa. Tacos, burritos, whatever they make... It's dayam good! Enjoy!

This tiny restaurant was recommended by the bartender at the Marriott pool. It is on Cook, in an industrial area, not part of any chain or hotel. Food was good, standard mexican, they serve beer, and margaritas.

Frequent lunch stop for me and my co-workers. Reasonable prices, and wonderfully fresh food (prior reviewer really sums it up). Small (and occasionally disorganized) kitchen so if you hit it at wrong time you may wait a little while. Comfortable order at counter, they bring food to you environment. Big step up from place like Carl's Jr, but total cost... More

Our second trip to Mamacita's on Velie Way; it's in an industrial park location, and is small and working class. However, the food is abundant, fresh, and delicious. You order at a counter from the extensive menu, then serve yourself drinks. Shortly your huge plateful of food is delivered by the friendly staff. Most of the menu items are well... More
