Much better prices than a lot of Monterey Seafood places( especially on Cannery Row or the Wharf. Unique items. I had a shrimp sandwich and my wife had a Crab sandwich(real crab). Can't recall seeing either very often. Mine came with a nice side salad. Hers with fries and chowder. Small place and pretty busy. People cycled thru quickly. Nice...

Very good fish n chips and chowder in bread bowl, salad. Kids can draw on the paper table cover to keep them busy while waiting for food.
This is a traditional seafood cafe with a great menu and wonderful food. Excellent service and moderate prices. Love the squid and chips. We come here every year when visiting Monterey. We play games on butcher paper covered table with the crayons while we wait for food. Then we devour our delicious food. It feels like a bit of New...

Our server didnt even smile, the oysters were nothing special yet they were $13 for a 1/2 dozen. Fish and chips were very greasy and the server seemed irritated when he thought he brought everything we would want without us asking, when we had to ask for horseradish. If you don't like your servers to have personality, go here.
I work in hospitality, so I wanted to go to a hole in the wall for valentines day- someplace that wouldn't be packed like sardines!! my boyfriend chose this place and it was a definite winner!!!! everything is fresh and local on the menu and soo delicious. the fried artichokes were amazing, and the shrimp cocktail was so yummy! the...

Good food, plenty of it and good service. There were 4 of us for lunch and we surely didn't leave hungry and cleaned our plates too. Nice homemade tastes and very satisfying. Good choices of hot teas as well. A good place to stop for lunch after going thru the aquarium.
We were told that this place had the best chowder, so naturally we had to try it. It comes served in a bread bowl or just a cup. The bread bowl comes with a plain topper or a garlic-cheese topper. Do yourself a favor and get the garlic cheese...it is the best thing ever, next to the chowder. Great to...

We walked here for lunch while visiting the Montery Bay Aquarium. Its a very short walk and worth every step!
We ordered the Fried Calamari appetizer. It was very good and not a drop of grease to be found. My husband had a bowl of the Chowder while I ordered the cup of Chowder and half of a Bay Shrimp...
