Dog friendly, can be a plus, but I don't like to eat with animals. The food was very heavy if you like that kind of thing. I like lighter fair. Patio was nice and place was very busy. I really wanted to like it more. Good service.

Service was bad. We waited and waited. Finally asked a server if she was our waitress to which she replied, no. We then asked her to please get our server for us. She came back half an hour later and said, Oh I guess I am your server after all.
The saving grace was a delicious chocolate fondue for dessert...

We had a great dinner outside and the service was very good. The star plates of the night were the veggie burger (my first try ever and I'm in love!), great tasting meatloaf and a wonderful salmon plate. All 6 of us enjoyed our meals, The Filling station is another great reason to dine in downtown Orange. A very nice...

I arrived early on a Sunday morning and the server was so much fun that I was disappointed with my huevos rancheros, which were pedestrian. I was on an all Mexican food binge, being in Old Town, and would have liked a fresh, handmade tortilla, and homemade salsa.

A friend & I ate here for the first time recently. What a neat little place! An old fashioned "Filling Station;" currently known as gas stations, that is "filling" people's stomach's now. The Filling Station is located on a corner of Glassell Street just outside downtown Orange. The atmosphere is very retro nostalgic for those of us of a certain...

We had a delicious lunch on a beautiful afternoon in Feb at the Filling Station. As we were seated, we were told by a patron leaving that the burgers were to die for. I didn't order one but a few of the people in my party did order them and they agreed. The basic cheeseburger which came with fries or...

My friends and I went to the Filling Station for Breakfast on a Wednesday morning (none of us had been before). Big perk was that it was not busy. Immediately we were sat down. The ambiance is awesome. If you are the type of person who enjoys atmosphere, then you have to visit. It is exactly as advertised: A gas...

The Filling Station in Orange, CA. is very good and afordable. The portions are large and they make their own delicious baked goods. Try the cinnamon roll, it is large enough to share and is sooo good. The strawberry preserves are out of this world. This restaurant is very reasonable considering how large the portions are.

The food was very good and fresh. I had the veggie quesadilla and it tasted great with fresh guacamole. It has a nice patio which used to be an old filling station.
What ruined our experience was a barking dog. We didn't realize this is a pet friendly place until we sat down. That is OK but there was a...
