It was delicious and worth the wait! My son had the plate with a waffle, sausage and eggs scrambled! He s a picky one as far as egg preparation goes (hah!) and per his words "best ever" . We also ordered biscuits and gravy~ delicious. They have a few renditions of eggs Benedict. I choose the one with spinach which was... More

Great spot. Service was slow, and I HATE it when people after me get served before me. But, it was a busy Saturday and the Reuben was kick-a** so who cares. Great Bfast spot. But skip bfast and order the reuben.

This place is great. Breakfast or lunch, both are good. Service is friendly and the food is delicious. I had a tuna melt with grilled onions. We will be back!

This place is right on the main touristy stretch of Ojai Ave and with its pink interior, it is designed for tourists. I had a veggie omelette and it was pretty darn good. The coffee is weak old school diner coffee which is to say it's nothing to get excited about. No espresso machine, no strong coffees offered here. I... More

We had just hiked 3-4 miles above Ojai on a beautiful spring morning and came down into town and had breakfast here. There was a great selection of food choices and, as breakfast is my favorite meal out, I am a little bit fussy and I loved what I ordered. All of my friends were happy, too. The diner atmosphere... I think you will enjoy this "country" restaurant, because it take simple cooking ideas and spiffs them up three or four notches. I had a Monte Cristo sandwich—ham, cheese and turkey layered in bread, dipped in egg and fried. Not very healthy, but delicious. As a side dish, you should opt for the home-made potato chips, or crisps. They are... More

We've gone to Bonnie Lu's since its start. The food is Down Home Comfort. The wait staff is friendly and helpful. The food is always consistently good. It's located right down town Ojai, good location

Food was just what you wanted from a greasy spoon, though the service was a little hectic. They didn't seem ready for the Sunday brunch rush, though it seems to be an established local favorite.

Quiche was microwaved, but waitress did remove from the bill...otherwise, service was inconsistent...three servers came by within a minute of seating us and then disappeared for 10 minutes
