Great for out door dining and casual parties. The tomato salad and strawberry shortcake are both very good but seasonal. This is not gourmet dining but simple homestyle American Italian meals.

Is not like the the food is bad, but is not good either. ave up trying to find something we loved on the food menu. However, the strawberry shortcake is delicious, so when the post the sign outside during the pick of the berries, we always stop to share one. And visiting before Hallowing the pumping patch is fun!

My wife and I love the strawberry cheesecake. We love all of the food. Great, historical location with country setting. They only take cash or checks, no credit cards. Great place to eat anytime.

You either you like their sauce or you don't, I do. Most expensive beer around - tiny pours. Strawberry shortcake is outstanding, as is the totally casual inside or outside seating and location. Very Ojai.
