The dining room is quiet but the service and food excellent. My favorite thing about Maravilla is the El Jefe--a spicy tequila drink that is no longer on cocktail menu but they will still make for you. The chicken, fish and short ribs were all good. The banana pudding with ice cream was delicious.

The menu is not extensive, but the selections are well designed and beautifully presented - the beet salad was to die for!

First, be aware that we spent about $100 per person all told, including appetizers, entress, desserts and beverages (wine for 1, the rest non-alcoholic). So this is a splurge. Also, be sure to make a reservation in advance, especially during popular times at the Ojai Valley Inn resort. Eating at Maravilla is a real treat, as this restaurant offers deliciously... More

We heard a lot of news about this restaurant and our expectations were high. The food was good but not great. Like everything else at Ojai Resort, the service was impeccable and the level of attentiveness is unparalleled.

This was our least favorite restaurant of the six we dined at dinner on a week vacation. The scallop entree was good but quite pricey as was the wine choices. We would not dine here again because of the less than perceived value.

Now this is a special place. It is more elegant then the other restaurants on property, but casual resort wear is perfectly fine. All the dishes look like pieces of art and taste incredibly delicious. Staff is friendly and will take great care of you.

We ate here on our last night at the resort. The service was perfect, food was amazing. My filet was perhaps one of the best I've had. We didn't feel rushed, and enjoyed our experience.

New Year's Eve Dinner cost us over 800 dollars for four people and was so inedible, out kid left halfway through the meal feeling sick. Our reservation was screwed up and they sent us to some buffet with screaming babies. not what we had hoped for.

While staying at Ojai Valley Inn, I dined here with my husband one evening. It was an evening to remember for not only the food but the service and atmosphere. This is the inn's signature restaurant. It deserves 5 stars. Whether you are staying at the Inn or not, it is worth dining here as it is a lovely, romantic... More
