I would actually give 4.5 of 5 if I could. I think this is a very solid restaurant and well located. Service isn't always the best or timely but the food is pretty darn good most of the time. This is a place that has been around a lot of years and keeps a following. More

This restaurant is right above the wonderful market in the Rockridge area of Oakland (across the street from the Rockridge BART station). The dishes are Italian and very tasty. It was the first restaurant (many years ago) where I found the olive oil on the table with the little plate and bread. Thought it was neat then, too. More
