The service was very good even though it was very busy. Food was excellent, the signature steak in particular. Highly recommended.
The prime rib dip was tasty. I got it with pepper jack cheese. The chicken sandwich was tasteless. I don't recommend it. The portions were average. Just enough to fill you up.
The price was terrific for a family of 4. Excellent steak. One of us had tiger shrimp that was exceptional. Wanted to get back to try the trout but the kids wanted pizza the 2nd night we stayed. Don't pass this restaurant up. It doesn't look like much from the outside and the parking is tight, but when we ate...

This was a great surprise in a little tourist town outside Yosemite National Park. If you're staying in Oakhurst to save some money while visiting the park, don't miss at least one dinner at Sweetwater.
Prime rib was cooked to perfection. Salads good, as well as baked potatoes. Interior needs some refurbishing. Booth seats were ripped. Faucets in bathrooms would not flow without holding it down. How do you rub your hands together to get the soap off while holding the faucet down?! Not to mention, not being sanitary.

We stopped by this eatery for lunch, as we left Yosemite National Park. The food was excellent. I had the prime rib sandwich----EXCELLENT. The servers were charming and most helpful. I would recommend this eatery to anyone who gets to Oakhurst, CA.

Not much to look at from the exterior, but made to feel very welcome on arrival and kept the coffee coming and the food was amazing (Rancho omelette), have been to many places on this road trip but overall this is up...
