Pearched up on a hill with a view of the bay. The food is prepared homestyle with class. Large portions. Friendly place. Make your reservation prior to arriving is the way to go....we noticed this as we waited for a table. We will never eat anywhere else for breakfast.

Always a great go to place! Staff is friendly, food is good, service is fast and the wait isn't long. Good view of the harbor and kids can run down and play chess at the chess park that is in view. Go for breakfast if your visiting, lots of great family and Morro Bay memorabilia.

The food was good but the prices were (to me) out of line. Finding bones in my $13.50 fish and chips seemed wrong.

We thoroughly enjoyed our seafood dinner at Dorn's. It was a highly recommended restaurant by locals, and it met every expectation we had. The oysters were great, the seafood salad exceptional. I absolutely had having a waffle or pancake brought to the table with cold hard butter that won't melt! Not so with Dorn's - the syrup came heated!!! Great views, very good food, lousy service. No change for 12 years. This place is a tourist favorite, often with a line. Best for breakfasts, nice deck.
