We had a great dinner here, I had the wet burrito which was too large to finish, all tho I tried, the Mrs. had soup and the enchiladas, both were delicious.

My wife and I spent several days in Morro Bay this week and decided we wanted Mexican food for dinner one night. There are no Mexican restaurants on the Embarcadero so we found Lolo's on Main Street away from where most tourists would typically eat. The restaurant was not fancy but had a festive atmosphere and was fairly busy given... More

We have been trying the places along Highway 1 between Morro Bay and Cayucos. This one is clean, the service is very good and the food was better than others we have tried in this area. The salsa was good with some bite but the food was more on the mellow side. The menudo was good but I needed to... More

It's a cute little place that seems to be poplar with locals however, I'm not sure why unless everyone has the ability to taste. The salsa is tomato sauce based, uh.. A big no,no. Salsa should be freshly diced and seasoned. The chili verde doesn't taste like chili verde, I'm still not sure what kind of meat that was. Refried... More

If you aren't paying attention, you'll miss this place. But, if you miss this place, you'll also miss some of the best Mexican food in the area. You need to try this place.

Cute little Mexican restaurant off of hwy 1. Food was good but not outstanding. Chips, salsa and margaritas were great though. Nice, friendly service.

Lolo's has great Mexican food in a casual atmosphere. We love the chicken taquitos, guacamole and wet burros. We always bring out of town guests here for authentic food. The staff is very friendly. They have great fish tacos too!

On the front door its says "travel advisor recommended" only by people with NO taste. Salsa-canned diced tomatos with onions, enchilad-so hard my knife wouldnt cut it, salad-one thin sliced tomato HALFED and 6pieces of lettuce with bottled ranch, steak-I couldnt get the fork in it to cut it and when I tore I piece off it was like rubber,... We have enjoyed dining at Lolo's for many years now and have never been disappointed. Everything on their menu is a treat! We recommend them to everyone. The friendly staff and always excellent service along with the reliably good food and value will keep us coming back!

We visited due to recommendation from local hotel. We were a party of 2 and the kitchen batted for .500 We expected something better. The setting is nice and the service as well. The margaritas were not at all authentic, but they had a great selection of Mexican beers.
