I have a higher salt tolerance than my S.O. and I got to eat her food after I finished mine. For a $6 burrito I will go elsewhere or spend $2 more at Taco Temple and have the best carnitas burrito ever.

If you can put up with noise, family seating and Styrofoam plates, this is THE place in town. It is just a hole in the wall but serves authentic food a very reasonable prices. Try take out and avoid the inside crowds.
Better than I expected. Had carne asada tacos and nachos and both were really tasty. Most importantly it's cheap spent about $11 on a meal or two.
Unless you close your eyes while driving down Main St.........It's very visible with a open plate glass construction and right across from Bottle Liquor store. Just booths inside at Taco De Mexico. You do not come here for ambiance. You come here for excellent Mexican food and good prices. The staff is attentive and friendly. In over 20 years, I...

I enjoy the good food and pleasant environment that reminds me of great taco stands. They also give choices on sauces to match preferences for spiciness.
We ordered two tacos that came with rice and beans. Maybe it was just a off day but we weren't impressed. The chicken tacos were ok, as was the rice and beans but certainly not outstanding. We wouldn't go out of our way to eat here again.
A local hole-in-the-wall where I usually get the veggie burrito coronado (hold the rice, extra beans, with onions and cilantro) and a drink, and total cost is under $10, and it's delicious and more than I can eat. You can tell it's good because it's usually filled with locals, surfers and a lot of Mexican-Americans.
This has to be the cheapest meal we paid for during our entire trip. This is the real deal Mexican food. Don't go here for atmosphere, it's all about the food.
We’ve arrived late in Morro bay, and decided before to go to our hotel to have dinner. We’ve read good reviews about the place, so we decided to try it and we didn't get disappointed :) .
Their food tastes great, big portions and the price was good. It’s more a take-out place, but there are also tables, so we...

I'm not commenting on the food because I have only been there once. However, I would not go back because of a health issue. All patrons are free to put their hands into ice bin for beverages. It's not a dispenser, but a trough. You dip your hand and cup into bin, perhaps leaving behind numerable germs.
