We have been here many times and nothing has changed. The location and view were very good, but the service is poor out on the patio. The servers are not busy, but they seem to overlook customers and when an order is placed, there is no hurry to deliver.

The good: - the terrace and view are beautiful - the service is professional - excellent hamburger - several fresh beers on tap The bad: - obnoxious VCs screaming on their iPhones about equity - pricey I'd return, with earplugs.

While the Rosewood Hotel is, in appearances, somewhat unassuming (looks like a barracks compound) it's a well-known haunt for the local Silicon Valley Superpowers and a lot of meetings and business deals are happening there during the weekdays. However, if you'd like to visit when it's quite and less energetic, try a Saturday lunch at Madera. We recently enjoyed a... More

The service and the food here are incredible. The desserts were works of culinary art and the grilled chicken was like nothing i've tasted. Great place to sit on the balcony on a nice day and sip wine while enjoying a fine meal. Pricey (Cobb salad is $18) but worth it every once in awhile.

Good food, pretty good selection of wines, but a bit on the pricey side, which was expected. For dinner, order the bass-- it's delicious !

It's a beautiful setting and the service was good. Food was good, but not worth the cost. $250 for 2, with 2 drinks a piece. Servings are on the small side. Octopus appetizer was very good, unique.

We were a party of four for dinner. I see other reviewers complaining about the food and I am glad I did not read them before going otherwise I would have been unnecessarily apprehensive - it was all excellent. Of course people have different tastes and expectations but it seems like there must be an element of luck of the... More

Overpriced, lacks almost any "normal comfort" food. Definitely not worth the cost. The only upside was the wait staff.

Tried five different courses here and two could only be described as inedible. The octopus was much like a car tire and I think most of us hopefully agree that eating a car tire is not a wise move. The food was generally underprepared and the service was average, at best. On the plus side, the risotto was nice and... More

Great location, view, decor. Food was OK,very small portions.Too expensive for what you get. Hostess was an idiot and would not seat us outdoors as was the request at the time of reservation. There was no one out there the entire night. It ruined my evening-my birhday with friends.
