I stopped here unexpectedly on my way to Venice just by taking a turning down towards the beach. I'm pleased I did as I decided to have lunch. It was relatively early so plenty of space and I was shown to a great table by the window overlooking the beach. A good menu and reasonable prices. The service was extremely... More

Firstly, I can't understand some of the 'sub par' reviews on here. What were they expecting and what do they really get when they go to their 'fave' places?! We were on holiday staying in a house about 10 mins up PCH from this restaurant and visited it twice during our stay. On both occasions the food was excellent -... More

My husband and I went to The Sunet after our wedding, by recommendation of the lady we rented our condo from. My husband called and got a reservation and explained that it was our wedding day and we wanted something quiet and romantic. We were assured that this was the place to go and then transferred to a second person... More

Took my daughter and her college roommate to the Sunset for Sunday brunch. We had a noon reservation and were finally seated after about a 15 minute wait. The two bright spots were the friendliness of the valet parking staff and the location right across from "free Zuma." Everything else was subpar. The restaurant was full of flies, the wait... More

The Sunset located across the beach road from Westward Beach is an ideal, late afternoon, early evening location for a drink or dinner. Very romantic setting and a great date night place. There is often live music going on in the bar from the local music scene.

I had lunch here with a group of about 25 people and they made us feel very welcome. I had asparugus tacos, which were very good and a nice, light lunch. We sat on the second floor, which gave us privacy, but an amazing view of the ocean while we dined. We even saw a sea lion. I would definitely... More

Great place to settle into the bar - configured with groupings of casual seating - we ended up meeting some great folks from France. Good drinks and apps. Moved into dining room for dinner - good service, pretty good food, but not enough to bring us back. That said, we'd definitely go back to the bar for happy hour and... More
