Nice vibe and excellent service. The food was fantastic. Really great selection with lots to choose from unlike many other brunch places. I'd definitely visit again.
Came here with some friends last night and had drinks, with shared chips. For a pub, it's draught section is quite small, though they did have some excellent choices, like Old Speckled Hen. The food was extremely good and the service was very friendly and accommodating. The place had a good vibe and was pleasantly full, during our drinks. It's... More
I was in town visiting friends and this place came recommended. Not only was the pub atmosphere totally just want I felt like but I felt like I could have been at one of my local watering holes in Montreal. The food; however, is the best pub food I've ever had. Luckily we were a big enough group so we... More
We wandered into the Pub while wandering down Melrose Avenue on a Saturday afternoon. The pub was busy but not overly crowded and we were able to find 2 seats at the bar. The beer selection was excellent and the menu offerings were good. There were some things that were unavailable due to the Brunch menu being offered but the... More
We stopped here for some small plates and a cocktail on a Saturday afternoon. When we mentioned just getting drinks, they seemed reluctant to give us a table. Drinks were nothing special, service was alright, food was pretty good. I would recomment the corned beef pancake or roasted brussel sprouts if you're dining tapas style or wanting appetisers.
The place was recommended to us by a local. We had the mussels to start with and these were great. We also had the veggie curry pie & the cheeseburger, which were ok but for the price we expected something more. The place was very loud, so don't go there if you want to have a conversation.
I like this place because its a block from the Groundlings theater, which is one of my favorite places to go for improv comedy and SNL-style skit shows. The restaurant has a decent beer list but the menu is a bit limiting. The fish and chips are very good though and its always hard for me to order anything but... More
Really good food in a nice upscale pub. Try the Bratwurst or Catfish Po Boy. The menu is familiar with a nice twist up. The interior is real nice. The booths are comfortable. The service was very attentive and nice. It is located in an interesting area with unique shops, etc.
