We went to Toi last night at around 8pm. This is our first dining experience in LA and i can say we were not impressed! We chose Toi as it was so widely liked on trip advisor. Ok so the atmosphere was great well decorated with old movie posters and rock posters, i especially liked the signed Pulp Fiction poster,... More

We sat by the Pulp Fiction poster signed by Quentin T. Loved the grungy atmosphere and the food is quite good/reasonably priced - loved the Thai spaghetti and wish I could figure out the sauce. My son loved the Pad Thai - can't figure that one either (very orange - perhaps a lot of tamarind and less fish sauce) -... More

Even though parking is a headache for this restaurant it's worth driving around to find a spot. The food is always very tasty and the value for money is good too. The setting is very eccentric with odd pop/rock memorabilia and strange papier mache creatures hanging from the high ceilings. The staff have a very laid back, casual attitude. I... More

I went here reluctantly with friends after clubbing on Thursday..They were shocked I'd never been as it's 2 blocks from my house. I never liked Thai food ever! I love Indian/Mid Easter/Japanese..but never Thai.. I tried everyone's food and it was ok..but my Pad Thai was so amazing, it's Saturday and I made my boyfriend go get more! Maybe Pad... More

Toi was a late night stop, chosen based on Frommer's positive reviews. The actual experience did not disappoint. Toi is a small, noisy, happening Thai restaurant on the very busy Sunset Boulevard, not too far west of La Brea. We were lucky to find parking at a meter on the street; there aren't a whole lot of other options. Every... More
