This is the best pastrami in town. Right amount of spce, properly cooked, melts in your mouth. Coupled with the best rye bread in town.
Not the best area, and Langer's has limited hours.

The best pastrami sandwich I have ever had, with the perfect blend of ingredients, and fall-apart-tender meat. Order their famous #19. Be prepared to wait a little bit, but also worth it.

For all the raving about this place, it's such a disappointment. Had to go back with out of towners who insisted they knew better than I about Langer's. Don't know how they finagle such good international PR! So we go, have a distracted waitress, can't get water, see the owner/manager uninvolved with patrons, find dirty knife on table, you get...

Pastrami was good, but overall not a great deli. Rye bread was okay, stuffed derma was awful, service was haphazard.
Manager stopped by the table to ask how everything was and when we told him the derma was poor, his only reply was that he had never tried it! As they say..., it's just not an east coast deli!

I can't believe I've lived in LA since 1998 and never been here. It's hands down the best Pastrami sandwich in town. New York style deli. Great service. Lots of choice on the menu. Can't wait to go back! They do curb side pick up, parking can be difficult in the area. But if you can grab a booth or...

It is located near McArthur Park and would not be considered a neighborhood you would like to take a stroll in but bar none in L.A., if Pastrami is your game this is the place!!!
You can even take the metro to this establishment.

This place is an institution. My first visit here was in 1968 as a NY tourist, now I live in L.A. and this place is still here serving great food.

The place does have good pastrami, but my favorite it the barley soup with giblets. I do enjoy Langer's once I go in there, it's getting there that is kinda scary. Don't get my wrong, I live a few miles from their and dodge gunshots where I live. It's a little rough there and I wouldn't go around there after...

Great service, knowledgeable staff, comfortable booths, and the food is excellent. Located just off of downtown, a good place to go before or after a matinee at the Chandler.

This is one of the two or three stalwart Jewish delis in Los Angeles. The area that it is in has steadily declined over the years. It is only open for breakfast and lunch and closes at 4pm daily. Cutomers are mix of power-lunching downtown execs and old-timers looking for a cholesterol fix. Their cured meats are all great and...
