Their latte is unbelievably good. They roast their own coffee and it makes for a great latte. The outside seating is great, inside is a little noisy.
When I walked into the cafe for breakfast I was approached by 3 service people who yelled at me about my service dog (who was wearing a vest), and they wouldn't listen to me when I tried to tell them the laws. Then, after all of that, the server comes to my table and says, "You can't sit here. This... More
This is just really exceptional coffee. They also do a good breakfast, and it's great people watching, I've seen more celebs in this place than anywhere..... but, it's the coffee that keeps me coming back. Strong, rich, always hot. There is a magazine stand next door with a great selection as well.
Went for late breakfast with my husband. He had the eggs Benedict on a croissant. He loved them. His coffee was strong enough to wake the dead. Just the way I love it. The latte was I feel a little weaker in strength but still yummy. I had the eggs florentine Ina croissant I aske for a sub for my... More
A popular cafe, filled with locals - it has a young, hip vibe. Weekends are busy - perhaps not as long a wait-time for a table as restaurants down on 3rd Street like Toast, but long enough standing out in the sun. When it's busy - boy, is it noisy! Something about the acoustics inside amplify everything, so an outside... More
We had a late breakfast here on a Sunday morning in July. H had the poached eggs dish. I had the whole grain pancakes with blueberries. Both were delicious. The coffee is made one cup at a time. Very good. Fresh squeezed orange juice, delicious. Dining indoors or out on the sidewalk. Highly recommended!
Checked this place out today since Toast was too long of a wait. It was busy however, since we didn't mind sitting inside we were seated right away. The menu is pretty basic...something for everyone. I had the chicken and cheese enchiladas with a red sauce and I have to say they were pretty darn good. I am still savoring... More
We visited Kings Road Cafe several times on our recent trip to LA, and every visit was a pleasure. The breakfast menu is fantastic - the breakfast panini and omelets are great. Lovely coffee, fresh fruit - everything is delicious with prompt and courteous service. I hope we get the chance to come back and visit again.
The title says it all. Great latte in almost a soup bowl sized cup. If anything they do themselves out of trade as its so big we didn't order another as we normally would. Food was great with the breakfast menu having something for everyone. People watching in LA, especially this part of town is always a treat, and this... More
