I enjoyed their happy hour with friends from work. The food was much better than the price would suggest, and the live music well worth waiting for

I've been taking business clients to dinner here for 15+ years, and it has never ceased to be first class. Their service and food are both excellent; fresh fish, oyster bar, elegant but not stuffy atmosphere. The recent purchase by Landry's has not seemed to change anything. I highly recommend it. The prices are not cheap, but comensurate for the...

Recently joined a group of 20+ in their back bar area! Delightful time had by all plus the same with others around us. The appetizer menu is superb! Many choices, good portions and great prices. I couldn't eat meat because it was Friday (Lent) but several others purchased the hamburger. Looked tasty and I could see they enjoyed it.
We walked over to McCormick and Schmick to bring back a hot apple walnut pie with cinnamon ice cream as an in room treat. Wonderful!!
This is not my first experience at McCormick & Schmick's (M&S), bit it is probably my last. We ate here on Christmas Day 2012 - one of the few restaurants open in Orange County that wasn't Chinese or Mexican fare, or in a hotel.

Since Landrys has purchased McCormicks & Scmick's I would say the restaurants have become more of a basic experience in dining. That being said my lunch of mahi-mahi was very good. Service was attentive and the food came out quickly. I would return to dine.
A wide assortment of fish, all very fresh. Excellent service. Yummy bread. This is the OC outpost of a group of restaurants, most called "McCormick and...(Schmick or Kuleto)" and all of which are very good. I go to the one in San Francisco fairly often.
We haven't been here for probably 15 years, but we had a gift card burning a hole in our pocket and went there on a Sunday night. The place was fairly empty and the booth at which we were seated was difficult to get into. The bread was bland, the wine was subpar, the swordfish had no taste and the...

Had reservations far in advance, waited for 10 mins to be seated.,after which we were totally ignored for over 20 mins. Finally a waitress came by and asked if someone had gotten our check. We explained to her we had never been waited on. She explained that no one had put our table number on her section of which she was...

We were there for a birthday celebration and Neil made it exceptional. We ordered both fish and beef dishes and all were done perfectly and very tasty. The servers were very attentive and made for a great time by all. Would definitely recommend the new age surf and turf and also the upside down apple pie....Great job done by all!...
