The service was quick and friendly. I had the 1/2 order of corned beef hash and it was more than enough and a good value. Good coffee too.
This is semi-hidden on a knoll within a shopping center. If going north, either turn right on highway 20, then the first left, from there take the 2nd entrance into the center and go straight almost until the end. If you miss highway 20, take the next right, which will lead you around to the same entrance. The exterior is... More
As someone else said, it was great find. We ate there three times in a week, so that says something. We for breakfast had French toast was excellent (and I am picky.) For Lunch, a Ruben - pretty good. Another time She had Huevos Rancheros with extra avocado - what ever the heck that is - and she love it!... More
Food great, the place opens early, 6am. We had the best waitress, very good mood, very attentive without being bothersome. If we were there again we would go back.
Heading into Ft Bragg we were looking for a place to have breakfast. My wife saw a sign for David's and we turned into the shopping center. Yes I said shopping center, as much as I hate to admit... We walked in, and it had a good crowd, everyone was laughing and talking. Looked like mostly locals... We ordered coffee,... More

The door was wide open and at first we didn't realize we had gotten there right as they were closing. There were still several patrons finishing their meals and we were never... More
The only thing not to like about David's Deli is the inconvenient location. You need to turn east off CA 1 in south Ft. Bragg at the McDonald's and go back to the rear of the shopping, then come way back up toward rhw highway. But it is worth the effort. Everything is homemade and delicious, the servers and other... We were in Fort Bragg looking for a locally owned place for breakfast and happened upon David's. They were very busy, but the owner took the time to talk to us, and took an interest in us. The menu for breakfast is your basic diner menu, but that is what we were looking for. We had french toast and it... More
Portions are large but they sell half sandwiches with excellent sides--best fruit salad and sweet potato fries in a long time. Off the beaten track-no views that would appeal to tourists, since it is in a shopping center. I needed a box to take home half my Cobb salad. Friendly staff and nice decor (local painters and photographers' work)
