This place does it for me. Love their salad offerings, pizza choices (especially the ones without mozzarella cuz I can't do chz), and butterscotch pudding & sea salt desert -which is not to be missed. The places gets packed but it adds to the charm and experience. Servers are super friendly and accommodating. Love this place.

North County - thank goodness you have Blue Ribbon Artisan Pizzeria. I came here when they first opened, and just went again recently. Still solid, still delicious, atmosphere is great even with a small footprint (looks like they expanded a bit outside?), still the friendly staff. You can't go wrong here! I'm glad to see the menu expanded a smidge.... More

Inventive and delicious artisan pizzas and awesome local micro-brew - what more could you want? Their wood fired pizzas are beyond comparison in my opinion. They even make their own mozzarella which is the smoothest I've ever tasted. Go for the "My Father's" pizza. It's amazing. Plus, ya gotta love a place that's into fresh local produce and supporting other... More

We ordered a salad with figs in it. It was amazing. I had never eaten a fig in my life but loved the salad. The pizza we ordered had sausage on it which was the best sausage I've ever eaten. The butterscotch pudding is to die for. It's a very small restaurant but has a nice feel to it. I... More

I really enjoyed my meal at Blue Ribbon Pizzeria. The food is fantastic and very upscale. This is not your typical pizza jopint, but more like a "Top Chef" gourmet pizza eatery. I had the tuna tartare, burratta cheese and some pizza. All were fresh, high quality and delicious. The tuna needed just a teeny bit of zing to it... More

I originally found Blue Ribbon through online reviews. The pizza is very good, and I appreciate the unique crust and flavors. The downside is that it's a little pricey, especially if you want a salad and pizza (and can't agree on a pizza to split with your significant other, which often happens to me!). The butterscotch pudding (their only dessert)... More

One of my absolute favorite restaurants in San Diego! I have had several different artisan pizzas and each were amazing! They are all about sustainability and supporting local growers. It has an awesome vibe and I love it! I'm Italian and have traveled all around Europe and this is better than Italy! TIP~ GET THE DESERT!!!!!!

From the previous owner of Blanca, a highend resto in Solana Beach, this small artisan pizza restaurant is always full. The goat cheese and fig compote appetizer is terrific and more than enough for two. The pizzas are all about the same, all good. I've been here several times and only once had room for the one dessert which is... More

Consistently excellent food. Top quality ingredients make for wonderful flavors and great taste. It's busy, crowded and noisy but the service is quick and attentive. The prices are fair for such good food. The laid back beach vibe always makes me feel good

We've now eaten at BRP 3 times now, I feel like you really need to go somewhere a few times to get a true idea of how it is, you never know when you might show up on a bad day for whatever reason. That being said....it takes more than good food to make a restaurant great, the atmosphere and... More
