For a casual & well-done restaurant for lunch, you should try Sbicca. Not only is it an interesting spot to people watch, it has an exciting luncheon menu & thoughtful wine list. Last week, we stopped by for an enjoyable lunch (my wife & Standrad Poodle, Annie Little Tail). My wife ordered the Roasted Beet Salad. I odered the 8... More

A buddy of mine and I were looking for a nicer place to have dinner the other night in Del Mar and we didn't want to dark dreary feel that Bully's has, nor did we want the super sports bar atmosphere of Jimmy O's so I suggest Sbicca. I've been here many times before for fine dining but this time... More

We had a very good Sunday brunch here today - delicious sea bass salad, eggs Benedict, and brioche french toast. Good service, nice ocean view (ask for an upstairs table).

Great location in Del Mar. Food is fresh, and sitting outside is quite lovely. It was a very enjoyable evening.

We didn't have a reservation on a Saturday evening in Del Mar and our usual favourites were all booked up and not taking walk-ins, so we decided to try Sbicca. We were pleased with the meal, although not as special as the booked out places, it was still very nice (and less expensive). There are sea views from some of... More

Of all of the places that I have eaten in Del Mar this one is my favorite. We went there twice to eat, once with my wife, our son and his wife and once more with just me & my wife. Each time the food and service was great. I will definitely be there again next time we are in... More

This is an American castle. You will feel like royalty at this hotel. We walked around the grounds wondering if it was a dream. This is a special place that will be one of those places you remember forever. Don't plan on leaving the grounds - there's no reason to leave!

We were a walk in group of three on a Sunday night. We were rapidly seated on the roof, which as wind breaks and heaters. Food was very approachable, ranging from burgers, to fried chicken, nice steaks. Blistered peppers were nice as a side. Waitress (younger woman, tall blonde) was very attentive and accurate. Wine list was petite but had... More

We'ved dined there twice before and we enjoy our experience each time. The first time was brunch which we thought was excellent food-wise with good service. Hash and eggs were a hit. Dinner the second time during sunset was wonderful as well but the service could have been better. This time there was improvement on the service and food remains... More

We had a great night at Sbicca and two great meals. My wife tried the newer menu item - fried chicken and was thrilled with how tender and juicy it was with a crispy, light crust. The mashed potatoes and greens were well prepared and very tasty. I tried the house specialty pork prime rib, and though I thought it... More
