Have been going to Eat Chow for two+ years. The friends I have brought with me are regulars now. The food is amazing, there isn’t anything that I haven't loved. Fav’s besides the French Fries, which are thin & perfectly salted/seasoned (Sweet Potato Fries are also amazing) include the Warm Goat Cheese Salad and the Ceviche taco/tostada. Highly recommend, can... More

I live in Costa Mesa and this is definitely one of the best places to grab a meal at any point in the day. Only drawback is that the space is small so make a reservation even if you don't think you need to! But you won't be sorry, it's SOOOO good! You can always walk across the street to... More

Eat Chow is a great local place and not your usual chain restaurant. The parmesan truffle fries are the best I've ever tasted. I also love their ahi burger! They have a great wine and beer list too. Service is always friendly. A great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner. More

We live in the area and had lunch at Eat Chow a couple of days ago. My reaction is that the place is WAY over-priced considering the location. The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. We paid $4.50 for "chips" and got a small bowl of chips, which, I'm sure, come from El Toro Bravo. You can... More

When Chow opened in Costa Mesa, we were glad to have an independent , small cafe that offered fresh food at fair prices. The first few times it was good, but on my last visit the service was not pleasant with the waiter making inappropriate banter that seemed mean spirited. The hamburger that comes with carmelized onions had none. My... More

Great Food, Great Service, Great Ambiance, I love this place. Try the Truffle Fries and the Ruben, they are the best I have ever had. Oh, and the beer and wine list is perfect too. It is crowded but that is how you know it is good. Enjoy! More

We chose to try Eat Chow after reading a positive review in the Orange County Register. We thought the food was tasty, but all the trendiness of the restaurant made us feel a little uncomfortable. Not unwelcome, but uncomfortable. So this may not be the best choice for families, especially those with young children, seeing as there's no kid's menu.... More

Live in the area and had to try the new place out. We arrived at 10 minutes past noon and were told after we were seated that the kitchen had to change over from breakfast to lunch and it would take ten minutes. Then ten minutes later the server came over and told us that it would be ten minutes... More

This new restaurant is just what every neighborhood needs. It's reasonably priced, properly portioned, and fresh. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner; we had lunch and found the food to be well-prepared and tasty. There seemed to be an order of truffled parmesan fries on every table so we ordered one to share--delicious and we could really taste the truffle... More
