The beans are not over-roasted, unlike so many other places. Nice staff. Friendly. Open seven days a week, which was great. Didn't try the baked goods, but they looked pretty good. Did I mention that they don't burn the beans?

Coffee made any way you want it. Not too strong like Starbucks coffee. The chicken salad sandwich was out of this world can came with a free cookie. I sat outside and enjoyed the day. I know Claremonters lover their Some Crust, but this little gem, one block over, is uncrowded, friendly, AND has doughnuts as well as all the pastries, sandwiches, fruit, coffee drinks etc. that any self respecting coffee place offers. Give it a try!
