Great for breakfast. Very casual the food is excellent and the customer service is good. Wait staff very friendly.
We have gone to this cafe for breakfast many times and find it is always good. They are very flexible, if you don't care for hash browns, you can get a fresh fruit cup. Also, they have about 6 choices of bread for your toast, bottomless coffee, quick & friendly service, large servings, good value for your money. It's got... More
It was Sunday morning, and still being on East Coast time, we were up early and looking for a local place to have breakfast. Driving by the Sunshine Cafe we saw all the cars parked outside and decided it may be the place. Boy we were glad we stopped! Greeted with a hearty "Good Morning" when we walked through the... More
My wife and I ate breakfast here one morning during our recent trip to Palm Springs. The place is easy to miss if you are not actually looking for it. If you are interested in fine dining or champagne brunches, this is not the place for you. This is a small cafe serving simple food. I almost got a small... More
We absolutely love this cafe. The food is always great we especially love the banana-nut pancakes. Everyone who works there knows us by name and treats us like family, as they do all of their diners. Atmosphere is typical diner experience. We give it all a 5 star experience!
The place is a dive and I get it and love it. Here's the point, if you're going to let your business be a dive you better have kickass food. They don't. Not even close. I've given Sunshine 3 chances and each time was a bust. Whether it was a sandwich or breakfast it all sucked.
The back room is a drop-off in contrast to the front, but both need to be fresher. The carpet needs replacement. The walls need paint. The front door needs to stand open at night to get some new air in. The air has a spoiled smell. To walk to the back room, customers pass through the galley where wait staff... More
A few years ago a golf buddy and I went here for breakfast almost every week. As I remember they has something called "All American breakfast special" for 6 bucks or so. Service was good, coffee unending, food hot and fresh. Then for a couple of weeks in a row things deteriorated with cold servings (eggs, home fries) and just... More
On a recent trip to Palm Springs, we ate here several times. Very friendly service and good food at very reasonable prices.
Have been to Sunshine many times over the years, mostly for breakfast ( one of only 2 places we go for breakfast) and occasionally for lunch. Great chicken Sandwich.
