Food was rather blah, staff was not what we expected for being in a "nice" restaurant right across the street from the ocean.

I have only been here for breakfast, but sitting outside on a lovely sunny morning with a view of the beach--what could be better. Their breakfast fare is delicious and so is the sparkling wine! Our group was here recently after doing the Carlsbad 5000. Great staff, great location.

Love this place! Great food menus haven't had their pizza though. Staff is young and pleasant! This place overlooks carlsbad state beach you can enjoy drinks at the bar or enjoy a sunset over the ocean on their covered patio area - pretty sure they open it up when the weather allows. Bar area is great for a game on TV and having a drink with friends. Great burgers and sandwiches. A little more subdued area is the main restaurant. We love the drinks and the amazing house salad.

The bar scene was exciting with everyone just having a good time. The views of ocean at sunset are terrific. Downside--one TV didn't work and no one knew how to fix it and the food was typical bar food. Can't recommend any of the food, just enjoy the bar scene.
