This was really a treat, as food was very good in spite of the location and potential for so much less! If you are going up and are wary as we were, rest easy knowing the operation here serves quite good fare. Tea on the way up and lunch on the way back, or vice versa, it really takes the... More

It takes about an hour's hike to reach the cafeteria. It's half way to Tiger's Nest. It is a place to rest and to sustain before continuing your hike. Food is average but filling. Tea is good. More

This is the only food outlet on the trail to Taktsang. Lovely place to stop on the way up for hot tea and biscuits while contemplating the rest of your climb up to the Monastery. You get a better view of it at the tables outside, than inside the restaurant. We stopped for lunch on the way down . Food... More

What a walk up to the cafeteria, rewarded by a cup of tea and a biscuit....oh yes, and one of the best views in Bhutan. Stunning....and only another hour of purgatory until you reach the monastery.....but it's worth it. Lunch is basic, veggie, but tasty! More

Didn't actually go into restaurant but as I was delighted to have made it up I just sat and enjoyed the tea and crackers looking at the most incredible view. More

We started our climb up at around 9am - and stopped here both for tea & crackers on the way up and for a basic but tasty vegetarian buffet lunch on the way down. Get your guide to make a reservation if you wish to stop for lunch. Ours initially suggested we dine at another place a short drive from... More

The only rest point/cafe along the way to Taktsang. Perhaps you should spend time just resting or some take some sweet milk tea and use toilet. Food are terrible even I has been working in Bhutan for half a year and used to local food. I always advice my friend who going there to bring their own snack, or instant... More

If you are trekking up to Tiger's Nest, you can enjoy the a hot and ready lunch to refresh yourself. Its better to be the restaurant between 1230-1.30 pm. You can use the wash room and have tea and cold drinks etc. More
