The food was fine. More barbeque/smoky New Orleans than gumbo green, but fine. Waitress was prompt, personal and polite.

The food was hot and salty and the lemonade was too sweet but having visited the south and eaten their food, this was very authentic. Hush puppies were yummy, green beans and yummy catfish. Everyones dish looked good. The ambience was quirky, New Orleansy. I really liked the decor. Jazzy music in the background.
I sat at the bar and had a light dinner. Maybe because I've eaten a few times in the French Quarter in New Orleans, the food didn't excite me. And the service was not great. All too often (and I was certainly close enough to notice), the wait staff stood around socializing with each other while patrons waited.
I rated this restaurant average b/c we're talking Bay Area. in other parts of the country it might well get a very good. I did adore my shrimp creole, which was well spiced, very flavorful and had lots of tender shrimp, accompanied by rice and green beans. My sister's catfish with hush puppies were over-fried and catfish overbattered. The crayfish...

I anticipated this establishment for 2 months. Super excited when I arrived with 2 other coworkers. The staff is very friendly but things went sour quickly...the food is under average food. I was not impressed and for the foodie that I am I was hoping for so much more. My plate looked like something from a hospital with pureed sides...

Not a meal for anyone counting calories! The red beans and rice were outstanding and my shrimp was terrific. I sampled the mac and cheese and it was very tasty as well.
I had dinner there on a Tuesday evening and didn't have to wait for a table. A group of friends had to wait half an hour on a weekend evening. I tried the baby back ribs and they were very tender and tasty. Highly recommended.
We had a solid 4 star visit in January and returned in late February for a repeat. It was not to be so I have to reduce a nice place from 4 stars to 3. The problem stemmed from cold food. My wife's sampler plate was not delivered warm or hot. The server (and the manager) did what they could...

We had never eaten Creole food before. There’s not a lot here in Australia. But this place was highly recommended on Trip Advisor, and so in we went. We were not disappointed. Our waiter, Michael, gave us some recommendations, and we started with a salad with an amazing dressing, and went to shrimp creole and buttermilk chicken, with the most...
