Believe me, we were not expecting much since the resturant was litterally in the middle of nowhere. What a delisious surprise. Yes.....yet another buffet, but lots of choices (meats, breads, dips, salads, veggies and dessert) for everyone. Most importantly....clean. Perfect meal to "batteries" the legs for the walk out. While visiting Petra sites we found this restaurant managed by Crowne Plaza Hotel. They serve a very good buffet during lunch time, although not cheap a very good place to consider if you are going to walk up to the Monastery as it is close to this trail.
