I only wanted a snack as I was off to a Bedouin camp for the evening meal. So I had the flatbread and a dip with a mint tea. I know it isn't difficult. But it was super. And they were charming. I was on my own. I was welcomed and not hassled or ignored. One to note for future... More

Red Cave stands out among the restaurants in Petra with the tasty dishes. The fresh lemon juice with mint was the best one we had in Jordan!

Five of us had lunch here, sitting outside on a covered terrace. We had a selection of Bedouin dishes including spiced chicken, baba ganoush, fatoush, falafel & complimentary flatbreads & houmous. Really good fresh lemon juice. Reasonable prices bearing in mind you are a stones throw from a Unesco World Heritage site & one of the wonders of the world.... More

After two nights of eating at the hotel this was a much better experience. The traditional dishes were very tasty although we did have better (we ordered the lamb Mansef and one of the beef dishes). Prices were fair. Definitely worthwhile if you staying it Wadi Mousa.

We arrived very tired and famished. I was tempted some dishes that are home-like. The waiter, however, went on and on about the quality of the mutton used, and discouraged us from ordering anything but chicken. So we did!!!!! Mine was supposed a BBQ chicken pieces. I had dry tasteless pieces of chicken that were anything but BBQ-ed. my partner's... More

A nice restaurant which has an impressive seating inside and is located on the main road just at the main entrance gate to Petra.

Was recommended this restaurant by a local and it didn't disappoint. The food is typically Jordanian with lots of choice and the huumus is the best I've tasted. The staff are great and will supply you with samples of the dishes so that you can decide what you would like to order.

Food was average quality, nothing special. For 4 vegetarian meals + 4 cokes + 4 teas we paid 50 JD ~ 60€. Absolutely off the roof!!! Not even a tea you can expect as hospitality...

Easy to find on the tourist road next to the Movenpik. Just as we sat down a large group of 18 were seated. So from then on we were kind of ignored and all the attention went to the large group. We did finally order and took about 20 minutes for our food to arrive. The food was average at... More

We enjoyed our evening meal here having dined at the restaurant next door to it the previous evening. The Bedouin food is well prepared and quickly served. The Baba ganouche was particularly good and we had a traditional chicken stew with freshly squeezed lemonade. There is no alcohol here so be prepared. Try the Cave Bar before hand for good... More
