I've eaten here quite a few times over the past year while in Mt. View to play music and have never had a bad meal. Burgers are really good. Chocolate shake that I had was among the best. But the real attraction, for me, is the fried baloney sandwich. It's about 1/2 inch thick smoked baloney that is fried on... More

Prices are very reasonable and the food is great. The wait staff is very friendly as well. We ate the ice cream and we have eaten the BBQ several times.

I had the BBQ Pulled Pork w/cole slaw and fries. It was a good, tasty meal. I would not say it was the absolute BEST BBQ that I have ever had, but it was very good. There were two teenagers working the order-taking/paying at the cash register. Not the most polished at their duties, but they got the job done.... More

Delicious barbecue is an understatement. It is fantastic! It's located right on the town square and is one of the only places open late. There is no bathroom. Diners must walk across the street to the public facilities. They charge for soft drink refills.

Hot bbq sandwich is good. The beans were not. There is ice cream here also but we did not try it.

Kin Folks Bar-B-Q, located next to Aunt Minnie’s Yellow House on the Courthouse Square in Mountain View, treats both its customers and its food with great respect. The dining room is cozy and bright; it also tends to fill up, especially at lunchtime and on event weekends, which are frequent in Mountain View. The spacious outdoor deck, comfortably furnished, not... More

We visited Mountain View for the day to take in the springs in the Blanchard Springs Caverns park area and the Saturday night music scene around the Mountain View Court House Square. During our meandering from gazebo to gazebo that evening, we stopped for ice cream at Kin Folks BBQ. They were busy, as expected, and the wait was reasonable.... More

My wife was getting her hair done and one of the stylists brought in the lasagna lunch special from Kin Folks. She called and asked me to order us one for our lunch. The serving of lasagna was enormous and very tasty. It came with salad, bread and dessert. It was large enough for us to share. What a pleasant... More
