This is the kind of cafe I grew up going to with my Dad. There is even a working juke box. We stopped in for a late lunch on a Saturday. Several of tables were full and now I know exactly why. The food is excellent! Breakfast is also served anytime. We will definitely eat here again.

We were visiting the area and this place came highly recommended. Pulling up, given what we saw, we weren't sure how good it was going to be. What a pleasant surprise. Since we had a large party, we were able to taste test everything from hamburgers to fish -- all of it was very good. Excellent, friendly staff.

Stopped in because we were in town too early to eat at our favorite stop and decided to give this place a try. Glad we did. Ordered lunch specials: Ham & lima beans with fried potatoes w/onions, & mexican cornbread and pork roast over toast with mashed potatoes and green beans. Ordered a dinner plate from the menu: chicken fried... More

As the title says the service was friendly and the food great. The local folks wait for it to open and they're to have a conversation.

We have eaten at this establishment over a period of several years, and have found the food consistently good, the portions large, and the staff wonderful. This is a small restaurant so the tables fill up fast no matter what the time of day, and it is well attended by locals. The tables and utensils were clean, the food nearly... More

The wait staff is friendly and they got our food fast even though the place is packed for breakfast. This is where all the locals eat on the weekends for breakfast. The specials were great and very inexpensive.

Oh if we could find a place like this everywhere! Good food. No, that just doesn't do it justice. Comforting, satisfying, filling, make you talk with a drawl, excellent food. Ali and all the wait staff are wonderful. Want to try something? They'll bring you a taste. Homemade cinnamon rolls that you will dream about for a long time. Note:... More

This place was recommended as a good place where "locals" eat, and we were not disappointed! Everything that came out of the kitchen looked good. We had the chicken fried steak that was outstanding!
