Really delicious fresh fish and chips from a friendly Northern family restaurant. Great value, fish cooked while you wait, tasty chips - Also very nice fresh squid. Definitely eat here if you're in the area, I really love my fish and chips and this is honestly the best I've had (and I've reused alot!)

Today was the first time I have been here in a couple of years. The last time the owner was rude but I thought today I would give them another chance. Never again! The owner is still rude! The food tasted like it had been heated up from the lunchtime leftovers. There was a hair on my chip & another... More

Had a takeaway from "rock and roll plaice" fish cooked while you wait it was the finest cod I have tasted in a long time, the owner very informative, I did mention the fact that the studio we were in was freezing and was informed where a local DIY store in Wadebridge was where a local purchase of a heater... There have been a couple of mean spirited reviews of this chippie, one in particular is glaringly partial (and factually incorrect). As a family, we have used Rock and Roll Plaice for ages, and have always had the same positive experience. The owner is friendly, and extremely funny (ask him about the woman who returned one chip). We last visited... More

I recently enjoyed fish and chips and rock and roll plaice as I came down for a weekend away with my family of four. There was literally something for everyone! My youngest son enjoyed some scampi, my husband some fresh (giant sized) haddock, my vegetarian daughter had a delicious bean burger which she had never tried before! And I had... More

I am a local in the area, i visit the chippy on a regular basis and all the food that i have ever had there is to die for. It is truly amazing. The cheesey chips have a good serving of cheese not like most places I've visited, an the onion rings.... When i eat them its like I've died... More

We really want to use this fish and chip shop as its our nearest when we come on holiday and the staff are nice . But as has been said by quite a few reviews, the chips let it down. Are they over cooked? They're hard and scrappy and We're quite easy to please. We would be so happy if... More

This used to be great before it got taken over a few years ago and now relies on tourist trade and poorly served locals for its (expensive) trade. Served in polystyrene trays, rubbish chips, tiny portions of so so fish. Disappointing at best.

This has to be the worst fish and chips we've ever had chips were so overcooked there was no potato left inside fish was running in grease. We threw 4 portions in the bin and went home and made something. We expect better never again Camelford and Delabole are 100times better

The battered fish was perfect but the chips were the dregs of the day - shame that this let down the shop a little
