The food here is so good we never botherd to go anywere else , The chicken curry was soooo yumm, and they do the best iced coffee ever.
Revisited this restaurant recently for evening meal. They have a great menu which includes several Set menus at an average of R65,000. Had a starter of Spring Rolls followed by a Pork dish and finished with a Banana Pancake. Overall cost for 2 of us including Drinks,Beer and wine was R218,000. Equiv Aust $20 not bad for a three course... More
We ate at this little Warung on our second night in Candi Dasa and found it to be a real gem. If, like us, you enjoy finding "a cheap and cheerful" place to eat, then this is it. We weren't overly hungry so Pete and I shared Spring Rolls and Onion rings for an entrée and then shared a Mixed... More

We were impressed by the value offered here. I particularly enjoyed the chicken satay as it comes served over hot cools. Fun to have a bit of 'table entertainment'! They have a very reasonably priced 3 course set menu and in general the prices are good, but also great tasting food. The fact we ate here twice in a 5... More
This restaurant is excellent value for money. Food was good with many choices. The traffic noise from the street was a little irritating. However it was full on two consecutive when other restaurants are empty! Hence trying it on the second night!
Visited for first time this trip. Food was great except for prawn cocktail which appeared to be tiny canned shrimp. Considering prawn farm not far from restuarant they could use bigger fresh prawns. Love how the satay's come out on their own little clay habatchi.
Lunch here after fellow traveller recommendation. Ordered sweet/sour chicken. Very tasty. Great service and careful attitude from staff to ensure they got the order right. Great fruit juice! Enjoyed my meal and the care taken to treat customer right. Should be an example to others in town. Prices were very reasonable.
We went to Warung Astawa on our 2nd night and received great Bilanise hospitality and food. The menu is mainly Indonesian with some local specialities. For our main course we had the chicken satay which came up on its own little BBQ and the Indonesian seafood curry. The food was fantastic but I would say that you ask for the... More
