Everytime I have eaten here, which is several times, the food and service is always superb. You have to eat here if you are in Stellenbosch. The Big Easy wines are also delicious.

All a bit too quiet and staid for my liking. Everybody speaking in hushed tones. Nothing at all wrong with the quality of the food but it is hard to appreciate when you are not enjoying yourself.

Its a nice place, but I think its a bit overated and more about the name than anything. The service was good, the food was nice, but the ambience was not great. It was a bit stiff. The experience was fine, but I wouldn't bother dining here again. Glad I have eaten there to say I have been there though.
