This very rural restaurant is worth the effort of driving the 15km from Hermanus. The food is exquisite and interesting cuisine delightfully presented. We made 2 visits here and it made for a perfect final day lunch venue before returning to the cold of Europe! We will definitely be back when we next visit Hermanus.

Not easy to find but do make the effort. Only open from 12:30 to 14:00 and not every day but we turned up after hours and the staff stayed on to provide a memorable experience. If I was traveling in France and Italy and found a place like Moggs I would probably go back to it almost everyday. I love the way every item on the menu is carefully explained and the food matches the description. Staff and especially owners very friendly. The drive is not difficult and getting easier. Pete

We have just enjoyed a wonderful meal at Moggs where the food is consistently first class with interesting and different menu choices. The service is friendly and the surroundings amazing. it is a bumpy drive up the mountain but well worth the effort!

Difficult to get to at the moment as they are redeveloping and tarring the road through the Hemel en Aarde Valley. But dont give up! Its worth the detour.
