This is not only an evening out, it is an experience. The competence and creativity of the chef is evident in every single course. The staff are well trained and knowledgeable on both the food and the wine. Small portions offer the opportunity to taste different dishes presented in a picture perfect manner. Highly recommended.

South Africa has probably about 10 restaurants of world standard. This is one of them. On par with The Tasting Room, La Colombe, Test Kitchen etc. Nice cozy setting, friendly service without (thank God) being pretentious. Where I prefer La Colombe in Summer this is a nice winter option.

World class cuisine in simple but stylish surroundings make for a memorable dining experience. We didn't feel that the service, which was good, matched the jaw dropping offerings from the kitchen which arrived with ever-surprising and pleasing regularity. I have visited many refined restaurants, but Greenhouse definitely is at the top! Beautiful, classical setting, excellent service and super-delicious food. I am already dreaming of returning there...
